Kufri

Kufri is a small and charming hill station in shimal district of himachal pradesh about 13 km away from the state capital shimal on the national highway no.22. kurfri drive its name from the word “kufr” meaning lake in local language. Its is popular for its pleasant climate and picturesque beauty. Its avarage elevation is 2290 mtr (7510 ft) beautiful nature park and picturesque spots in the surroundings of natural setting as the major attaration in kufri. Kufri become very active in winter months when a number of skiing aficionados visit this place. Every year winter spots festival celevbrated in the month of februarary in a major draw.

The summer season is garnally considered to be a good time to visit through, the place witness a mordete inflow of tourists during winter season as well. In the months of April to may the avarage temprateure lies between 12⁰c to 19⁰c. summert season is in idea time because it genrally pleasant and warm making it an idea time or tourist visit. In the month to july to october the tempature drops to arround  10⁰c because its is a mansoon season and it received modrate rainfall. In the month of number to march the temparature varying around 17⁰c to -3⁰c. The place witness heavy snowfall during December and January. In Kufri march to Number is the best months for visitors to visit Kufri and it is the best time for outdoor activities.
