By Air: The nearest airport is Jubarhatti, about 23 km from the town. There are regular flight going from Jubarhatti to Chandigarh and Delhi. You can easily get taxi from the airport to get to Shimla.

By train: The nearest railway station is Kalka, about 88 km away from main city, which is connected to Chandigarh and delhi by regular train you can take the Kalka satabdi which goes from new Delhi railway station to Kalka via Chandigarh.

By bus: There are several bus services connecting Shimla to the major cities in Northern India. Distance of Chandigarh 117 km, Manali 260 km and Delhi 343 km. you can take bus from ISBT Kashmiri Gate. Bus goes in the morning or later at night. Timing can be varying from season to season.
